Food is love, love is food

Styling food to make them look appetizing is what comes natural to Julia when she's in the kitchen. To her, the biggest compliment is when someone tells her "OMG your pictures make me so hungry!" As she always says, Food is Love, and Love is Food. She believes when you love what you do, it shows in the best way.

She also believes everything happens for a reason. In her former life where she used to work as an advertising executive, as destiny would have it, she met a food stylist on a shoot for a client where she caught a glimpse of how fascinating food styling is. A few years later, having realized her true life's passion (= food), she left the Ad world to learn to be a pastry chef. After having worked in some of the institutional pastry kitchens in NYC (such as Gramercy Tavern, Bouchon Bakery, and Jean-Georges), she still yearned for more - and that's when she fell into to the world of food styling, the perfect combination between her love of food and stylish things. Since then, she's never looked back.

She lives in New York City, and she'll travel for her clients that range from small to big, commercials to editorials. She also has big plans to make this world a better place, one stylish food at a time.
