Julia Choi, Food Stylist

Julia is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.

In her former life when she used to work as an advertising executive, as destiny would have it, she would work mostly on food accounts. Then the love of food she felt during her stint at an Ad agency lead her to leave for a couple years to learn to be a pastry professional. Then after having worked in some of the best pastry kitchens in NYC (such as Gramercy Tavern, Bouchon Bakery, and Jean-Georges), she fell into food styling which is a natural cross between her love of food and stylish things. Since then, she's never looked back.

Styling food to make them look drool-worthy is what comes natural to Julia when she's in the kitchen. To her, the biggest compliment is when someone tells her "OMG your pictures make me so hungry!" As she always says, Food is Love, and Love is Food. She believes when you love what you do, it shows in the best way.

She lives in New York City where a lot of her clients are based, ranging from big to small commercials to editorials. 

She has big plans to make this world a better place, one stylish food at a time.
